The New England Healthcare Exchange Network (NEHEN, Inc.), is a consortium of Payers, Providers and Affiliates that leverages common technology and services to facilitate HIPAA compliance, new efficiencies, clinical information exchange, and cost reduction within member organizations.

Since 1998, membership has grown from 5 founding members * to over fifty active members including renowned hospitals and health plans such as Beth Israel Hospital, Harvard Pilgrim HealthCare, Massachusetts General Hospital, and the Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary, among others.
